My data

On the My data page you can download a copy of your personal data, and ask for your account to be deleted. You can undo the deletion for 14 days.

Downloading your data

Download my data gives you one file, with your profile, purchases, entitlements, messages, the log of support accesses to your account (who looked in, when and why), organisations, games, assets and parties. Invoices are not in it, you find them on the Invoices page.

  1. Click the Download (JSON) button.
  2. Wait a little while the file is prepared. This can take a minute, then the download starts on its own.

You can download once an hour. If you try sooner, the Account tells you when you can ask again.

Deleting the account

Delete account is at the bottom of the page. After the request you have 14 days to change your mind, then the account and everything in it is deleted for good.

What is deleted, what stays

  • Deleted: your profile, games, assets, parties, messages, organisation memberships and entitlements.
  • Kept: the invoices and payments, without your name and profile.

What to sort out first

  • If you have a subscription: renewal stops as soon as you make the request, and you lose the remaining time with the deletion. You have to acknowledge this with a tick. On individual request we can give a pro-rata refund: write to us for it.
  • If you have a group or organisation: they stay without an owner, and your games are removed from them. If others still use them, hand them over to someone first.

The request

  1. Type your username into the confirmation field.
  2. If you have a subscription, tick the acknowledgement.
  3. Click the Request account deletion button.

While the deletion is pending

After the request the panel shows how many days are left, and on which day the account is deleted for good. Until then a bar at the top of every account page reminds you of it.

With the Cancel deletion button you can undo the request at any time until the final date, and your account stays as it was.
