October update

Hi everyone, this is a bigger update, in the making since the summer. From now on every planned service is available, and so is payment.

🃏 Playing

Two hands: You have a left and a right hand, and their cards stay apart. On the TV, the two hands show on either side of your player.
A hand that fits you: Collapse it into a slim strip that shows how many cards you hold, or drag it taller or shorter. Your phone remembers.
Every card is readable: Your hand opens full screen too, and you can page through it. Cards selected on the table can be enlarged the same way.
Into your hand with one tap: Take the selected cards into your left or right hand with a single button.
Draw from another hand: If another player does not protect their hand, you can select one or more cards from it and take them.
Two separate protections: Protecting your hand and protecting your play area are two switches. So you can let others draw from your hand while nobody touches your area.
Rotation: Rotate a card, a deck or a whole play area, with a tap or degree by degree with a dial, even mid-drag. The view turns with you, so what you look at always stands upright.
Multi-step undo: Everyone can undo their own moves, and the host can undo anything.
Point on the TV: Point at the TV picture from your phone, in your own colour.
See who holds what: Your selection shows on every phone and on the TV, in your colour.
Tidy selection: Twenty identical tokens selected are one button marked “20”, not twenty separate buttons.
One area, a clean view: When you look at a player’s area, only that area is in front of you and the rest fades into the background. To jump elsewhere, hold your finger on another area or hold a card over it.
A good start: A new party starts with setting up the players and the starting layout, or with an empty table.
Join with a QR code: The party code can be enlarged on your phone, and the others simply scan it.
Sounds: Picking up a card, shuffling, rolling and other moves make a sound, and you can turn it off.
Keyboard: On a computer you can also play with keyboard shortcuts.
The box stays tidy: A card put back goes to its original place.
Sharper images: Higher-resolution cards and zoom, with quality tuned for the TV and for slower devices.
More reliable play: No card gets lost when dropped into a container, and a party can no longer split into two rooms.

🎬 Replay

Every party can be watched again: Jump to any move on the timeline, and the TV and the phones show that moment.
A new party from here: Start a new party from any point of a replay.
For content creators: Everyone’s hand can be revealed on the TV, and you can point from the TV too, for video.

💬 Discord

Play from Discord: Browse the games on Discord and start a party from there.
Live party card: The channel always shows the party’s state and player count.
On your own server: As a creator, add the bot to your own Discord server, straight from the Builder.
Your account on Discord: Check your plan and your storage.

🎨 Designing cards (Creator, new!)

A new app for your cards: In the Creator you design a template once, and every card in the deck is made from it.
Templates with fields: Put text, images and shapes on the card, and mark with fields what changes from card to card.
Fields and icons in the text: Insert the Strength field after “Attack:”, and every card shows its own value there. Icons go into the text the same way.
Table and grid: Fill in the card data in a table and see the finished cards right next to it.
Import: Load your cards from an existing spreadsheet, such as XLSX.
Library, symbols, textures: Tag your images, use and recolour built-in icons, and set backgrounds with textures.
Game values: Change a shared value once and every card follows.
Several languages: Write the card text in more than one language, translating side by side.
Print: Put the deck into a printable PDF.
Snapshots: Save a state of the deck and return to it later.
Straight to the Builder: Send the finished deck to the Builder in one step, ready to play.

🛠️ Making games (Builder)

An all-new interface: Every game has an overview page: what the live version is and what is waiting to be released.
Nothing gets lost: Everything saves automatically, the save status is always visible, and you cannot leave with unsaved changes by accident.
Undo while editing, up to about ten steps.
Gallery or table: Edit your card sets whichever way suits you.
Images kept in order: See where each image is used, which ones are unused, and how much storage is left.
Tags and categories for images, with filtering.
Shared library: Ready-made items for everyone, which you can take into your own game with one click.
Rules checked before release: The draft and the released version are kept apart, and a preview shows what players will see.
Illustrated rulebook, with pages to turn.
Piece spots on the image: Place magnetic points directly on the card image.
Know when your game is played: A Discord message arrives when someone starts a party with it.

💳 Plans and payment

Creator plans: Pay monthly or yearly, in euros or forints, by card, on Stripe’s secure checkout page.
Coupon codes: The discount shows before you pay.
Clear limits: Your plan sets your storage and the number of games and groups, and the Builder always shows how much you use.
Notifications on Discord too: You also get a Discord message about your purchase and its expiry.
A plan from your organization: An organization can give its members a creator plan, on top of their own.
Support: Support GreenCloth with an amount of your choice, no account needed.

👥 Working together

Organizations and groups: Make games as a team: with invitations, roles and permissions you can set per game.
Shared games in one place: Your groups’ games show next to your own.

👤 Account

Your own account page: Your profile, notifications, invoices and organizations in one place.
Several sign-in methods, one account: Link your Google, Discord and Facebook sign-ins to the same account.
Your data is yours: Download it, manage your consents and delete your account. A deletion can be undone for 14 days.
